5-Hydroxytryptamine Receptor 2A stable expressing U2OS Cell Line

Each vial of HiTSeeker HTR2A (5-HT2A) contains U2OS cells stably expressing Human 5-Hydroxytryptamine Receptor 2A with no tag. We offer this cell line as a stable cell line but we are now also offering vials of division-arrested cells (DA cells) in order to perform a small number of assays. Each vial of these DA cells contains 2.5 million cells, an enough number of cells to perform a complete experiment in a 96 well-plate or 384 well-plate. Innoprot HiTSeeker 5-HT2A Cell Line has been designed to assay compounds or analyze their capability to modulate 5-Hydroxytryptamine Receptor 2A. When 5-HT binds to the 5-HT2A a G protein is activated, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by second messengers (Ca). This cell line has been validated measuring Calcium increase in the cytosol. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring 5-Hydroxytryptamine Receptor 2A activation process in High Throughput Screening.
