Muscarinic Receptor 3 stable expressing U2OS Cell Line

Description

Each vial of this product contains U2OS cells stably expressing human Muscarinic acetylcholine receptor M3 with no tag. We offer this cell line as a stable cell line but we are now also offering vials of division-arrested cells (DA cells) in order to perform a small number of assays. Each vial of these DA cells contains 2.5 million cells, an enough number of cells to perform a complete experiment in a 96 well-plate or 384 well-plate.HiTSeeker M3 cell line has been designed to assay compounds or analyze their capability to modulate Muscarinic acetylcholine receptor M3. When the agonist binds to M3 a G protein is activated, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by second messengers (Calcium). This cell line has been validated measuring calcium increase in the cytosol. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring M3 activation process in High Throughput Screening.
